Happy 4th of July! Since we started fundraising in early May, the community has pledged a total of $270,000 from 175 donors. Donations range from $10 to $24,000 and the median donation is approximately $1200.  There have been two successful $24K for 24th Street matching challenges, one from Josh and Katy Mogal of eco+historical homes, and one from a longtime area resident who wishes to remain anonymous. We are in the early stages of reaching out to the local merchant community. Thank you for being early donors, BJ Droubi, First Republic Bank and Patxi’s Pizza.

The fundraising team will be meeting with more local merchants starting next week. We will report back to you as those conversations progress. Momentum has been amazing in the last 8 weeks, let’s keep it going!
